Piping requirements

- The necessary room height at least must be 215cm (concerning AquaCycle
® 900). In order to collect the shower and bath water, the plant must be installed below the points at which shower and bath water is produced (preferably in the cellar) if no other precautions are taken (e.g. lifting plant)!

- The place of installation must be frost-proof, dry, good ventilated and weather-proof.

- In addition the foundation must be able to bear loads (1250kg / m²) and level.

- The installations for collecting the shower and bath water (separate pipeline from shower/bathtub and/or washbasin) and for distribution of the process water are to be provided, in accordance with the generally valid technical regulations, e.g. DIN 1988 / DIN EN 1717. This includes, among others, the absolutely safe separation of the drinking water supply from the process water network through free outlets, observance of the backwater level, the use of different pipeline marking for the drinking water and process water networks as well as signs indicating that a process water pipeline has been laid in the house (DIN 2403)! The drawing and discharge points are also to be marked with the warning: ”Do not drink” or something comparable.

- In addition the drinking water ordinance(DIN EN 1717) stipulates the installation of a drinking water connection in private households for the operation of washing machines as an alternative to the process water connection.

- Garden hoses, paddling pools etc. should also be operated via a drinking water connection.

Cannot be recycled :
- water from kitchen
- water from dishwasher
- water from washin-machines
-
water containing faeces
- water charged with pigments (rest of colour, textile-, or hair pigments).

Can be recycled:
- water from shower
- water from bath tub
- handwash basin from bath
- non-aggressive foul water (viz without concentrated acid and leach).
